The Way a Manufacturer is Tagged to an Item

A Manufacturer can be tagged to an Item in the Item edit window, by typing in the Manufacturer Name only if it matches with any of the existing Customer IDs of type Manufacturer.

  • The existing entries within the Item edit window > Manufacturer Name field will be retained for existing items until corrected by users by choosing a Manufacturer from the pre-defined list.

  • A pre-defined Manufacturer can be tagged to an Item by using the Importable button in the Manufacturer Name field in Item edit window, as before.
