Asset ID Entered in Receivables Line of Dist.txt

Details

In CR2, an Asset or a Machine Ownership File (MOF) can be tagged to a Service Work Order by tagging its Asset ID in the Equipment tab > Asset ID field. This Service Work Order when invoiced and posted in the Great Plains format creates the distribution file named Dist.txt.

The functionality is changed as explained below.

  • If an Asset is tagged to the Service Work Order, then the Dist.txt will contain the Asset ID entered under the Asset ID column for the Receivables line, as well.

Note: There is no change in the functionality in case a Machine Ownership Files (MOF) is tagged to the Service Work Order. The Asset ID won't be entered within the Asset ID column of the Dist.txt file, as before.
