Rounding off Charge Duration

Details

The Order header and lines' Charge Duration, will be displayed as a whole number by rounding it off to appropriate days, provided the Allow Fractional Charge Duration check box is in cleared state in the Configuration module > Billing tab. If the Charge End Time exceeds 24 hours then the Duration is automatically increased by 1 day.

For example, the Charge Start Date and Time and End Date and Time are as, April 18, 2014 9.00 A.M. and April 19, 2014 10.00 A.M. Then, the Charge Duration is set (as 2 days as the time exceeds 24 hours) instead of 1d 1h. But if the Allow Fractional Charge Duration check box is selected, then the Charge Duration is displayed without rounding off the values. For example, as 1d 1h for the above stated scenario.

Note: However, the Labor and Misc. Charges get added to a Work Order with Duration as 1 hour, by default.
