Marking Items, Labors, Parts, Misc Charges and Kits as Non-Searchable

Details

In Cr2, you can set an Items,Labor, Parts, Misc. Charge and /Kits  as Non-Searchable, by deselecting the option Searchable present in the respective edit windows.  If marked as non-searchable  the Item/Parts/Misc. Charges/Kits will not be displayed in regular search results. However, System will allow to key-in the ID of the non-searchable item wherever the support is given for manually entering the ID. For example, in an order while adding a new line and keying in the item id or entering the item id using the Enter ID's dialog feature.

CR2 modules in which non-searchable items will be displayed with restrictions

Yard

  • Will not display  non-searchable Item/Parts/Misc. Charges/Kits  in regular search windows.

  • Will be displayed in the item-search window displayed while selecting items for batch receiving.

  • Will allow to perform any warehouse operations on non-searchable items.

Accounts

  • Will not display non-searchable Item/Parts/Misc.Charges/Kits in regular search windows.

  • If non-searchable items is included within a searchable kit, then the item will be displayed while expanding the kit in search window and when added to the order.

  • Will display the Non-searchable items while viewing Suggested items, and the same will be allowed to be added to the order.

  • In Worksheets, the non-searchable items will be displayed in re-order item search.

  • When searching for items in package finder screen non-searchable items will  be displayed.

Maintenance Module

  • In Maintenance Module, system will display the Items,Parts,Misc. Charges,Kits and Labor in their respective search windows irrespective of the Searchable status.

  • For the Employees of which the records are marked as Inactive (by de-selecting the Active check box in the Employee Edit window), system will not display the Inactive employee in any other modules other than Maintenance Module.

Physical Inventory Module

  • In Physical Inventory Module, system will display the Items,Parts,Misc. Charges,Kits and Labor in their respective search windows irrespective of the Searchable status.
